The TruGiclée trademark is a niche market application used by Giclée master printers who serve the upper end of the digital fine art market
The TruGiclée logo guarantees consumers the highest standard of quality and the greatest longevity. Giclee prints are often called giclées, borrowed from the French verb "gicler" meaning "to spurt." or "to spray. The Giclee print is made on a 6 color CMYK inkjet printer.
Giclee prints are made on quality papers;
- Somerset 100% textured cotton rag paper that is a radiant white, has a soft elegant feel, is 300 grams in weight, and archival rated for over 125 years.
- Fugi Crystal Archival luster photo paper that is a brilliant white, has exceptional color contrast and produces rich blacks, and archival rated for over 175 years.
Remember, the ultimate determining factors in the value of a Giclee print are the desirability of the image, the reputation and name value of the artist, and the size of the edition.
Canvas is also available – Add $200
Each print is Signed & Numbered in front border, and embossed with Seal of Authenticity.
