This series of paintings continue to depict interesting
juxtaposition of images always including the grey protagonist.
However, the paintings are more sensual and provocative than my
typical figurative paintings. All the paintings are intended to be
a tribute to the spirit of non-conformity.
Jim Lively is an attorney on permanent sabbatical from
practicing law to pursue his passion full-time as a contemporary
figurative and abstract artist. He resides in Dallas, Texas in a
mid-century ranch style home with his wife, Karen and Weimaraner,
P.J.,they affectionately refer to as the "Atomic Ranch".
