Blue Mountains based Artist Meredith Gaston creates enchanting paintings, watercolours and illustrations for the young at heart. Her use of bold, warm colours and simple forms exudes happiness and sensitivity. Meredith's subject matter often harks back to themes of love, tenderness and adventure. Her works are imaginative and whimsical experiences of the world through her grateful and curious eyes. Her simple forms, bold colour and naïve lines are instantly evocative.
For the last seven years Meredith has exhibited in high profile home town Sydney and Melbourne galleries, as well as showing in Berlin, Bologna, and Hong Kong. Her work has been featured in numerous international journals; magazines such as Harpers Bazaar, Luna and Vogue Living; and is commissioned worldwide. Meredith has just published her second book with Penguin.
