THERESE BOISCLAIR
Ontario, CANADA
Thérèse Boisclair was born in 1952 in Trois-Rivieres, Canada. She worked as a radio journalist and in the world of communications throughout her life. She also studied photography. She painted in watercolor for over 18 years and is using all its techniques in her new paintings using acrylic on the tissue paper.
Her inspiration is the emotion of the moment, it will determine the colors that she uses. Her brush is the water jet guided by her imagination. From the fragile tissue paper, from the movement of water and colors emerge fluid and luminous landscapes. Thérèse Boisclair creates paintings that depict the unique atmosphere reminiscent of abstract landscapes that inspire us in the maze of our own imagination.
Her abstract landscapes have been seen in numerous exhibitions in Canada, Europe and the United States. We find her works in private and public collections in many countries. Awarded Artist, she is a member of several associations in Canada, she lives and works in Ottawa, Canada.
