LINDA ROBERTS
Helena, MT
Linda Washburn Roberts is a free-lance photographer based in Helena, Montana, who specializes in landscapes, nature and fine art photography using both film and digital media.
Linda was born and raised in southeastern Missouri, in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. Landscape and nature photography represents her strong connection with nature and an appreciation of the endless circle that represents life. She has had a camera in hand since childhood and still has her mother’s Brownie Box Camera as part of her antique camera collection.
Linda has lived and worked in Washington, DC, California, Minnesota, and Montana. She made the transition from traditional film photography to digital at Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, Montana in 2008, where she attended both the Summer Intensive and Advanced Intensive programs as well as a Master Black & White Digital Print workshop with master photographer George DeWolfe.
Linda challenges herself as a photographer and artist, not only by learning new techniques, but also by attempting to see ordinary things in a different way. By challenging herself this way, Linda continues to grow as a photographer and artist.
