Mr. Timothe’ Winstead attended the Arts High School in Newark, NJ, a school for gifted artist and musicians. Upon completion of high school, he continued his education at the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts, a four year school for advertising and fine arts design. After graduation he enrolled at Montclair State University majoring in Fine Arts. After two years, he decided to try the fashion industry as a textile artist designing textiles, and quickly landed a job at Creative Fabrics in New York City where he became the head of the womenswear division with three designers under him. He later went on to menswear, sportswear, and evening wear, taking him to Paris, India, England, and Germany. Timothe’ spent a total of 15 years in the fashion industry. Combining his fashion ability and his artistic ability he started his own screen print business, but his passion for art was not yet fulfilled so he went on to start his own greeting card company where he created the artwork, verse, and packaging. After 5 years of creating greeting cards Timothe’ has now finally started doing what he was designed to do, Fine Art Portraits.
