Elizabeth grew up with a profound love of the arts. She explored dance, music, art and photography. Though she loves it all, painting is her primary passion. She credits her faith in G-d for the ability to pursue this passion and is everyday thankful for being able to do what she loves.
Elizabeth studied at the Glassell School of Fine Arts as a child and has taken formal courses off and on over the years. She is currently finishing her Bachelors Degree in Advertising at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Her medium is oil on canvas. She typically paints in abstractions because of the creative freedom it gives her. Elizabeth currently lives in Alabama with her family.
"For me, painting is a highly personal experience. Art allows the artist to explore their soul and their world. It is where a world of intangibles are projected onto the canvas. I paint in abstraction because it provides a limitless area for the intangible.
I cannot say in one paragraph what my art means or encompasses. What is portrayed on canvas is my reaction to self or world discovery at the very moment the paint touches the canvas. My reactions, and consequently my art, will evolve as I do. My wish is for my art to move someone on a profound level. That they feel things, consider things as they contemplate the canvas".
