Preston's art is pure, color saturated, energetic and emotional; colors and textures are as varied as emotions. Preston calls his art Spiritual Blending. There is no preconceived idea of what the art should be, what he paints comes from the soul. His color combinations are intuitive and inspired. Preston paints in an alpha state of mind, quickly with intense energy and in the moment, using found objects to apply the paint to his canvases.

Preston's intention is to inspire viewers to some personal insight and consciousness. Preston's paintings are of a very spiritual nature, he creates them to touch people on a divine level. Some of the painting themes are dark, some very energetic, some meditative and peaceful. He works in large format feeling there is not enough room to express himself on small canvases.
Preston sees and many others see things in his paintings that are unexpected and there by no intention of his own. At times one can see objects that are inspirational and meditative, others that can be scary and disturbing. Preston believes the energy and entities that appear in the paintings are there through universal collaboration. Faces, totem animals, demons, soul expressions his paintings are meant as reflections, insights and inspirations.
